Open 2.4mR Worlds 2023

Näsijärvi Sailing Club and it´s 900 members invite you to participate in the 2.4 mR class World Championships on Lake Näsijärvi in 2023. Näsijärvi Sailing Club is an experienced race organizer and hosted the 2.4 mR Worlds in 1998with 104 boats on the starting line. With docks for more than 400 boats the club has the facilities to dock 2.4 mR boats and very well working docks for sailors in wheelchair with easy access to the boat.

Lake Näsijärvi is over 100 kilometer long with an open bay right next to the sailing club. It takes only 15 minutes to sail out to the middle of the racecourse. Water is about 20 degrees Celsius in late July and the weather is mostly fine but can also be ruff so full sailing gear is recommended.
